heart spirit bones and clay

shattered deep into the marrow

life gift fully lived made me

a keepsake in my seventh decade

village of inner healers

bound by the sound of Love

picked up by my broken wings

they put me back together again

traces of Love as a behavior

fractured places made stronger

turned scars to new designs remind

transmutes wounds into beauty truth

like Kintsugi we too are made of clay

an ancient Japanese art form Kintsugi

shattered pottery’s alchemical glue

made of lacquer and precious metals

filled in the seams with a golden hue

glorious as a pearl born from dew

in a cloud’s silver lining shining

light on a holy healing re-creation

an art form of the soul’s imagination
