We promote the reading and writing of poetry and there are no mandatory fees at the local level. Members vary in age and writing ability; We have had high school students to those members that were "too old to tell" and members writing a poem for the first time to those with published books! To join with BBP, all you need is a Love of Poetry!
Big Bend Poets & Writers is a chartered chapter of the Florida State Poets Association and the National Federation of State Poetry Societies.
