Be thankful that your time
On this terrestrial ball
Tis a joyful reason
To talk to friends this fall
And on Thanksgiving Day
Give family a call
When you eat your turkey
At home or a big hall
Count your many blessings
For things both big and small
And puruse your photos
On shelves or on the wall
As you get to dessert
Give thanks for one and all
Still there will be a few
Who're harder to recall
So request some blessings
On those who may appall
