Christmas With You

It hasn’t been the best of years

But now it’s time to spread some cheer

On my first Christmas with you

We don’t need stockings

Or a tree

All we need is you and me

On my first Christmas with you

So let’s dance in these lights

On this Christmas night

Let’s forget our fears

Now joy brings tears

Watching the snowflakes fall to the ground

I’m in awe of this peace we’ve found

You take my hand

And pull me close

It’s you that I love the most

On my first Christmas with you

Caroling heard from afar

I love us just the way we are

On my first Christmas with you

So let’s dance in these lights

On this Christmas night

Let’s forget our fears

Now joy brings tears

Watching the snowflakes fall to the ground

I’m in awe of this peace we’ve found

Let’s hold each other tight

On this Christmas night

Let’s dream about the year to come

And if it doesn’t go our way

Our love could never come underdone

It hasn’t been the best of years

But nothing is bad

With you near

I want all my Christmases with you.
